Gwenno–Fratolish Hiang Perpeshki

After successfully making waves with pop band The Pipettes, Gwenno Saunders made a bold solo move  by releasing her first album in Welsh.  Fratolish Hiang Perpeshki is a synth pop throwback to the 80’s that tackles the normally cumbersome Welsh language into something soft and warm.  It sounds like the language of your dreams: unintelligible, but beautiful and inviting.  The track itself is lush and layered, intertwining with the ethereal vocals to form a trance-like escape.
