Cat Stevens–If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out

If there was ever someone fit to soundtrack a sprightly black comedy about coming to terms with mortality, it’s certainly Cat Stevens.  Harold and Maude remains a cult phenomenon to this day and it’s almost impossible to think about Hal Ashby’s film without too thinking of If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out.  Taking the film’s lessons about being true to oneself to heart, it’s a joyful affirmation of individuality.
